A group of young people from Percy Hedley day centre in Benton, volunteered to plan and host a series of discos in the day centre for the people who attend the centre.

A group of young people from Percy Hedley day centre in Benton, volunteered to plan and host a series of discos in the day centre for the people who attend the centre. They applied for funds from Keyfund to run the discos and managed to work through all 4 application stages receiving more than £2000 of funding. The last disco was held just before xmas which had a good turnout.

Recently the group received special achievement awards from the MV project for running their own project.
