There’s never been a better time to set up a youth-led project in North Tyneside. Take a look at some of these funding opportunities and get in touch if you would like some more info.

Here To Help

The Here to Help Awards aim to get young people involved in dynamic and lasting projects within their own communities. One hundred grants of up to £1,000 and a small number of grants of up to £3,000 are available to groups with innovative project ideas that have stemmed from young people.

Youth Action Fund

The Youth Action Fund is available to young people who have an idea of something they would like to do to help themselves or others. Individuals can apply for up to £1,000, groups can apply for up to £5,000 and community initiative can apply for up to £20,000 for large projects and events.

The Big Boost

The Big Boost gives awards of between £250 and £5,000 to young people to help turn their community project ideas into reality.

The Keyfund

Keyfund provides funds for young people to plan and carry out their own projects. There are various levels of progression from the first grant of £250 to level four grants of £2000. www.keyfund.org.uk

Media Box

Media Box gives young people the chance to get involved in hands-on media projects and have their voices heard. Young people who are currently under represented in the media industry can design and deliver projects in a wide range of media, from Film, TV and Radio to New Media, helping to shape the media professionals of the future.
