Placement Providers

The Volunteer Centre is always keen to work with local organisations to help them attract and support more volunteers.

Some of the services we can offer include:

• Advertising your volunteering opportunities on the national website www.do-it.org
• Helping you to develop necessary policies and procedures
• Providing training and support on a range of issues such as volunteer recruitment, volunteers and the law and supervising volunteers
• Help with organising one-off volunteering activities to support your organisation
• Celebrating the achievements of your volunteers by registering them as Millennium Volunteers (16-24 year olds), issuing press releases, inviting them to Awards Events and nominating them for national awards.
